A high-end twin tower residential development is located at the prestigious location of Tai Hang from Hong Kong Land as developer.
The signature of this residential building is the custom design feature ceiling in metallic gold colour at the drive way in front of the main entrance to lift lobbies. It was a challenge to meet those design criteria: The exterior design metal ceiling must stand for the strong wind pressure during the typhoon season in Hong Kong; ceiling pattern is irregular to integrate with the pendant light fixtures and concealed lighting troughs; all irregular ceiling panels are butt joints with square panel edges & concealed grids without any exposed fixing points and there are two layers of ceiling at the lighting troughs with upper layer of ceiling panels coated in white for light reflection.
It is a proven exterior ceiling system (System 130 EX) from Suckow & Fischer that it had withstood many severe weather conditions including the highest Typhoon signal 10 in Hong Kong in past years. In addition, we supplied 300mm wide strip ceiling panels for all the kitchens and bathroom area for this project.
