It is the first of its kind velodrome available in Hong Kong. The shape of the velodrome looks like a cycling helmet. Besides the 250 meters long indoor wooden cycling tracks, there are various types of indoor sports, dancing hall and a multi-purposes activity room.
The outdoor entrances to the velodrome are installed with System 450 Double Hook-on Typhoon Proof ceiling in grey colour which is considered by far the best performing exterior typhoon proof ceiling system in the market. Individual ceiling panel is dismountable for maintenance and services of E&M building service above.
Exterior baffle ceiling panels are installed at the semi-open car park area. There are perforated baffle panels with acoustic function installed at the corridors inside the premises. For the multi-purposes activity room, gymnasiums and dancing hall, panel size in 300x1200 mm aluminium perforated hook-on ceiling is installed with acoustic performance.
