Haven of Hope Hospital is a public hospital with geriatric services under the management of Hong Kong Hospital Authority. The construction of new extension of the hospital is completed in mid-2020 with 160 infirmary beds and clinical laboratories.

Suckow & Fischer’s patents awarded innovative Air-Tight Cleanroom Ceiling was selected and approved by architects and Hospital Authority for all ICU wards and laboratories. Installation of all Air-Tight Cleanroom Ceiling was completed in August 2020.

There are no designated service panels / openable access panels required because of individual full size ceiling panel is demountable from ceiling surface. No sealant is needed on full size ceiling panel joints for air-tightness.

At the ICU wards, the Air-Tight ceiling panels are in dimensions of 600 x 600 mm which are integrated with concealed lighting fixtures and other E&M services. At the attached bathroom & entrance area of ICU wards, the Air-Tight ceiling panels are in dimensions of 300 x 1200 mm, 300 x 900 mm and 300 x 700 mm etc. to match the configuration and layouts of E&M services.
